The Heavy can absorb a lot of damage and still keep on moving forward. He's happy to draw all the attention, and will take a punch to give a punch!
The Heavy is the second of the available troops in Boom Beach. The Heavy can absorb a lot of damage and will be very happy when he gets deployed as a living shield. Despite the fact that he is equiped with a large Machine Gun, he does little damage per second.
Heavy Offensive Strategy
- The Heavy can absorb a lot of hits from enemy defense. It’s best to deploy the Heavy at the start of the attack so defense will aim for him. You can deploy other Troops behind the Heavy. A strong combination is a couple of Heavies and Zookas. The Heavy will work as a Meat Shield for the Zookas behind him. The Zookas have a large range and can target enemy defense from a safe distance while the Heavy takes all the hits.
- Be carefull with Cannons, the Heavy can’t take much from a cannon.
Heavy Defensive Strategy
- A Heavy can’t take much from a Cannon so it’s a good strategy to setup your defense in a way that Cannons and Sniper Towers can both take a shot at attacking Heavies.
- Regular Mines are not very effective against Heavies, but Boom Mines are!
